Terms of Use

By creating a Plynt account or using the Plynt app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Plynt is operated by Andrew Murillo as a sole proprietor.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Plynt offers an optional premium subscription ("Plynt Premium") with monthly and annual options. The subscription is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the listed price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device after purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, threatening, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to access another user's account, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.
• Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited promotional material.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or generate content at scale.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

User content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Plynt (reviews, lists, profile information). By posting content, you grant Plynt a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content within the service so it can function as intended (for example, showing your reviews to other users).

You are responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have the right to post it.

Reports and moderation

You can report content or block other users from inside the app. We review reports and take action — including removing content, warning users, or terminating accounts — at our discretion.

Third-party services

Plynt connects to third-party services including Steam, Apple, IGDB, RevenueCat, Supabase, PriceCharting, and Cloudflare. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

Game prices

Collection valuations are estimates based on data sourced from PriceCharting and other public sources. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute an offer to buy or sell, an appraisal, or financial advice. Actual sale prices vary.

Disclaimer of warranties

Plynt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plynt and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.

Termination

You can stop using Plynt at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
